WELCOME TO RED HOOK GOLF CLUB
Red Hook Golf Club is a semi-private golf club located in the beautiful Mid-Hudson Valley in Red Hook, NY—near historic Rhinebeck, NY. It is easily accessible from the Taconic Parkway and Route 9, which has enabled the club to attract many members from the surrounding areas and also attract members from the New York City area. Founded in 1931 as a 9-hole course and later expanded to 18 holes, Red Hook offers a wonderful golf experience for players of all levels, and because the course has an outstanding drainage system, it is rarely closed due to weather. In past years, the Club has hosted qualifiers for the Dutchess County Amateur Championship and the New York State Amateur Championship. Open to the general public, Red Hook offers reasonably priced greens fees, an excellent restaurant in the Clubhouse Bar and Grill and memberships are available for the 2010 season.
During 2009, the Club’s Board of Directors aggressively addressed the adverse financial situation which Red Hook and indeed many golf clubs were facing. Largely through carefully planned reductions in costs, the long-term outlook for the Club was greatly improved without compromising the conditions of the golf course. As a result membership dues were reduced by 7 percent for the 2010 season, and the Board is working to try and reduce dues further in the near future. Additionally, several specials were started last year allowing many non-members to enjoy the experience of a round of gold at Red Hook. Our most popular special—greens fees and carts for $40.00 on Wednesday—is being continued into 2010. After playing the course, you will understand why it is arguably the finest layout in Dutchess County and the conditions of our greens surpass those for other courses in the region. Red Hook is also an excellent place to host golf outings as our drainage system allows us to remain open when other courses are forced to close.

Playing conditions at RHGC are optimized due to
excellent soil conditions and quick drainage.
Rarely is the course closed or golf cart usage limited
due to wet conditions on the course.
